On 13th June 2024, Slasify celebrated its 8th anniversary. Eight years ago, Slasify was a small team of 4 or 5 people with dreams and passion. Today, we have grown into an international business with a team of over 50 members across 13 countries. The Journey Begins: Founder Carlos Wang’s Entrepreneurial Story

Slasify’s founder and CEO, Carlos Wang, has accumulated extensive experience in the IT industry, from being a system developer at PPolis Inc. to an IT architect at IBM, continuously enhancing his professional knowledge and leadership skills. These experiences were all in preparation for one day realizing his dream of becoming an entrepreneur. In 2016, Carlos and the founding team, after completing a previous entrepreneurial project, decided to go on a self-funded team trip to Singapore. During this journey, they witnessed the unique charm of Singapore’s multicultural fusion, which inspired the business model of Slasify—providing global talent management and payroll solutions.

In Carlos’s early career, he recognized that labor should be diverse and not limited to specific times or places. He experimented with changing his work style and schedule to find the most productive times of the day, breaking the conventional 9-to-5 work mentality. This flexible work model inspired the future direction of Slasify’s services, aimed at helping companies hire global remote talent and gradually introducing the concept of full-time remote work. Slasify itself is also a fully remote team, experiencing firsthand the needs and challenges of remote work, enabling us to provide the best solutions for our clients.
